All New Colorways in 6 Sets of Fairy Wings

All wings below are ready to ship and will be listing Sunday July 14 at 7pm PDT!

First are these Datura wings painted in a ‘Mauve Plum’ colorway on Opal film with copper veins

Large mauve, plum and blue iridescent fairy wings with antennae, copper veins, worn with a purple bodice on a dress form

They will be $495 plus shipping. I forgot to take a photo of the wings in the resting position but they are definitely convertible and I’ll even throw in the little flowers this time.

Next, the Titania fairy wings in one of its most popular forms (they'll all be convertible now) a replica of the painting I've done only a couple times, the photos of which have gone viral but usually without credit to me. It's a really simple paint scheme with brown accents and a soft sage green on the edges, laminated onto the Rose Gold film. I had called it the 'Vrie' paint scheme, because that's the name of the person who first got them but I'm wondering if I should call them something different?
Anyway, I'll have 2 sets of those, and they will be $399 each.

There will also be a couple of un-painted Titania wings for $195 each. One is done in Opal film with gold veins…

There will also be a set of Titania wings in Ultraviolet with gold veins, for $195

Finally I’ll have a set of Goblin Princess wings, also in the Ultraviolet, with copper veins for $299

I still plan on making a more detailed post or video showing off the bodices above being worn by me with a rundown on how they fit, etc. But for now I'll say I really like that the backs on these are a bit higher, so the wings sit up higher between the shoulder blades and it makes them more visible. That also helped get them out of range of our portable AC while I was taking photos, ha!
I used to think a slightly lower placement was best but I've changed my mind.

The first one with a purple-ish sort of tapestry fabric is a size large, and I probably could've gone with an extra large but I figured I'd keep it in case my weight fluctuates down and a larger size might not fit my dressform as well. It's no Red Threaded corset of course, which I dream of someday when my budget allows, but I was in need of new costuming, especially for casual fairy looks. The boning is plastic, but, there's plenty of it so the support is pretty decent I think for a non-historical casual ren faire outfit. It has a zipper on the side so it's easy to get out of and has a modesty panel as well.
My bust is 38 and a half inches, waist is 33 if I don't suck it in, and this works if it's cinched a couple inches although I do wish the straps were longer.
There's a lot of colors to choose from and I'll probably go back for another eventually!

The other one is the Scarlet Darkness brand, and to be honest, I got it and some other items as compensation for them using a couple of my wings photos in their ads without permission. Then I found another ad using that SAME design with some changes which was kind of insulting, but at least they aren't selling copies of the actual wings and to be fair, at least a lot of the wing in the new ads are obscured so I don't know what to say. I'm still going to wear them, still will post about them but I'm also going to share the copyright issue when I do.
I was happy with their bodices - if they were historically accurate they'd be called stays - again they have plastic boning but there's a lot of it so it's decently supportive. Those are more true to size, and with those I probably could've gone down a size because I can almost close the lacing gap completely and with these bodices you don't really want it to fit on you like other items of clothing. You want it to squish you at least a little to look right. I got the one Amazon calls 'Green Floral' but the Scarlet Darkness site calls it Light Green. Note that if you get it from Scarlet Darkness it will likely ship from China and take a bit longer. There's a good selection of colors but I really wish they had one in purple!
